Seminars

On 18 June 2021, the EU Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) and the Direction générale des relations internationales et de la stratégie (DGRIS), French Ministry for the Armed Forces, organised a seminar on strategic culture and EU security and defence.

Working closely with DGRIS at the French Ministry of Armed Forces, past, present and future Presidencies of the Council of the EU and the European External Action Service, this virtual seminar brought together approximately 50 senior decision-makers and think tank representatives for an in-depth discussion on the Strategic Compass. 

The EUISS, the EU Delegations to Mozambique and South Africa and ACCORD co-organised a seminar in Pretoria.

The EUISS and DGRIS co-organised a seminar in Paris focusing on ‘European sovereignty’ in security and defence.
