On May 17, the CFI project hosted the Countering Foreign Interference (CFI) Network meeting, bringing together the Brussels-based Community of Practice focused on tackling Foreign Information and Manipulation Interference (FIMI) within the EU’s Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP).
We focus on Türkiye’s presence in and interaction with four regions: the Western Balkans; the South Caucasus; the MENA and Africa. This engagement serves a dual purpose for Türkiye: diversifying partnerships to counter isolation and asserting strategic autonomy by distancing itself from the West.
