The CFI project organised a partners’ panel at the State of the Union conference hosted by the European University Institute in Florence. The event represented an opportunity to discuss how foreign information manipulation and interference impacts the European Union and its Member States.
Since 2019, regular meetings between the EU Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) and the Africa Working Party of the Council of the EU (COAFR) have fostered knowledge sharing on Africa-related policy planning and analysis.

On 14 April,Giovanni Faleg delivered a presentation on EU strategies towards Africa at the seminar “African Security: Agency, Strategies, Perspectives”, organised by the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies.
The Institute participated to the first Symposium on EU-Norway security and defence cooperation. The focus of the discussion was on the opportunities and challenges for further security and defence policy cooperation between Norway and the EU within the broader context of transatlantic security.
