Dr Kovalčíková participated to a panel discussion organised by IDIS, taking stock of public support for Ukraine across the EU and the US.

On 14 March, Jan Joel Andersson was invited to give a lecture on EU security and defence cooperation initiatives.

On 10 March 2023, the Institute co-organised a seminar on the various dimensions of integrating gender perspectives into European security and defence.

Nad’a Kovalčíková was invited to a panel discussion on the security challenges facing the Western Balkans.

On 08 March, Jan Joel Andersson led a parliamentary intergroup discussion on financing European defence.

On 7 March, the EUISS and the Egmont Royal Institute for International Relations co-organised a workshop on the EU’s engagement with the Great Lakes region.

On 6 March, Jan Joel Andersson was invited to speak at the annual CSDP conference in Budapest.

Dr Gustav Lindstrom moderated a panel on the EU Strategic Compass at the inter-parliamentary conference for the Common Foreign and Security Policy and the Common Security and Defence Policy.

On 23 February, the EUISS organised a roundtable to share insights and knowledge on the prospective impact of greater transatlantic cooperation to counter hybrid threats in the Western Balkans.
