The EUISS at the 2019 Stockholm Forum

An EUISS delegation attended the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) 2019 Stockholm Forum on Peace and Development between 14-16 May, where the theme was ‘From crisis response to peacebuilding: Achieving synergies’.

The EUISS was represented as an official partner during the initial ‘Open Day’, with John-Joseph Wilkins, Public Information Officer, and Christian Dietrich, Data Visualisation Designer, manning a stand and interacting with members of the public. The Institute then provided the Institutional Lead in the post-conflict stabilisation panel during the invite-only ‘Focus Days’ with Director Gustav Lindstrom giving opening remarks and EUISS Senior Analyst Giovanni Faleg acting as moderator.  A report of the session is available here.
