On 3 October 2018, the EUISS, Clingendael and CNAS organised a roundtable to shed light on recent developments in European and global security and their impact on transatlantic relations.
Daniel Fiott served as panel moderator at a high-level symposium in Vienna. The conference was co-organised by the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the EU, the European Commission and the EDA.
On 19 September 2018, the EUISS in collaboration with the George C. Marshall Center’s European Center for Security Studies organised a workshop on transatlantic security.
On September 10, following the meeting of the EU-US Cyber Dialogue, the EUISS, together with the GMF and SNV, organised a meeting to discuss recent developments in cyber diplomacy.
Organised in cooperation with the European Commission and the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise, this meeting focused on sharing experiences concerning existing approaches in implementing cyber capacity building with the aim to foster a dialogue and cross-fertilisation of ideas and practices across communities.
From 14-15 May, the EUISS supported the European Security and Defence College (ESDC), the Cypriot Ministry of Defence and the Diplomatic Academy of Nicosia with the 13th CSDP high-level course 2017-2018.
