Yana Popkostova at the Responsible Raw Materials Annual Conference 2022

Yana Popkostova delivered a keynote at the Responsible Raw Materials Annual conference 2022 where she shared reflections on the criticality of raw materials for the net-zero transformation, the importance of designing and implementing sustainable value-chains and 'clubs' for the access and trade of these materials and the role of the mining industry in the process. She also shed light on an angle not often contemplated - the importance of placing the Just Transition at the very core of raw materials sourcing, refining and trade.
