Ukraine and beyond: the Association Agreements with Moldova and Georgia

24 April 2014

Although Georgia and Moldova are scheduled to sign the EU Association Agreements by the end of June, tension in the eastern regions of Ukraine pose a serious risk of further regional destabilisation. In this context, the EUISS organised a second Task Force meeting entitled 'Ukraine and beyond: the Association Agreements with Moldova and Georgia' which was held on 24 April 2014 in Brussels.

The experts invited discussed the latest developments and future challenges with regard to the signing of the Association Agreements, as well as possible steps for how the EU could keep Moldova and Georgia on track to complete their EU association deals.
