Daniel Fiott presents analysis on technological sovereignty to the European Parliament

On 15 June 2021, Daniel Fiott - Security and Defence Editor at the EU Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) - was invited to present his views on technological sovereignty to the European Parliament’s Panel for the Future of Science and Technology (STOA). Daniel was joined at the expert session by STOA’s Second Vice-Chair, MEP Ivars Ijabs, and other honourable members of the European Parliament. Daniel spoke about technological sovereignty and the challenge of supply for the European Union, and his presentation drew on a recent piece of EUISS analysis entitled ‘Sovereignty over supply? The EU’s ability to manage critical dependences while engaging with the world’.
