Cyber Security Conference – EU Global Strategy for Foreign and Security Policy
On 3-4 February 2016, EUISS and ICDS co-organised a conference on the role of Cyber Security in the EU Global Strategy for Foreign and Security Policy. Opened by the Foreign Minister of Estonia Marina Kaljurand, the conference addressed the challenges and opportunities the EU faces in relation to cyber security in an increasingly connected, contested and complex world. Distinguished speakers from academia, government and the private industry discussed EU's interests in cyber space, protection of values and freedoms online, the development on cyber norms and a digital single market, as well as cyber defence for CSDP.
