Arab defence industries: implications for the United States and Europe

At this seminar, co-hosted by the EUISS and the Atlantic Council in Washington DC on 24 May, Jan Joel Andersson, Florence Gaub and Bilal Y. Saab explored the development of Arab defence industries as part of the wider issue of the spread of advanced defence technologies around the world. The implications of the emergence of Arab defence industries for European and US firms as well as for the economic and political development in the wider Middle East were discussed with leading US industry and policy experts.
