Part of the expert outreach and consultation process for the preparation of the EU Global Strategy on Foreign and Security Policy, this joint conference was held on 17-18 February 2016 at the Maison de la recherche in Paris.

On 3-4 February 2016, EUISS and ICDS co-organised a conference in Estonia on ‪the role of Cyber ‪‎Security in the EU Global Strategy for Foreign and Security Policy.

This conference brought together European policy experts to review the COP21 climate conference in Paris, and to discuss the integration of climate change into the EU Global Strategy on Foreign and Security Policy (EUGS).

On 15 December 2015, the EUISS hosted the third and final meeting of the Task Force on Russian futures at its headquarters in Paris.

In cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs of Austria and the European Stability Initiative, and with the support of the European Fund for the Balkans, the EU Institute for Security Studies organised an event at the Austrian Foreign...

The CSCAP EU Committee held its third annual meeting in Brussels on Friday 20 November. The meeting was also included as part of the expert outreach and consultation process for the preparation of the EU Global Strategy on foreign and security policy.

The EUISS was pleased to welcome Afghan National Security Adviser Hanif Atmar to its Brussels Liaison Office to discuss the current security challenges facing the war-torn country.

The second meeting of the EUISS Task Force on Russia’s Futures took place on the 22nd of October 2015 in Brussels.

The 2015 Annual Conference of the EUISS was held, exceptionally, in Brussels on 8/9 October and served as the occasion to inaugurate the public consultation and outreach phase that will accompany the preparations of a Global Strategy for the EU in the coming months.
