Daniel Fiott served as master of ceremonies and panel moderator at a high-level symposium in Brussels.

On 1 June 2018, the EUISS hosted a high-level delegation from the Serbian National Assembly in its Brussels Liaison Office.

Researchers from the EuroMeSCo network were hosted by the EUISS on 22 May to discuss the situation of minorities in the Middle East.

On 16 May, the European Commission's DEVCO, in partnership with the EUISS, hosted a consultation workshop in Brussels to present a draft study on the EU’s external cooperation on cyber capacity building.

From 14-15 May, the EUISS supported the European Security and Defence College (ESDC), the Cypriot Ministry of Defence and the Diplomatic Academy of Nicosia with the 13th CSDP high-level course 2017-2018.

On 14 May, the EUISS organised a high-level panel discussion between HR/VP Federica Mogherini and Mr Michel Barnier.

On Saturday 5 May, EUISS staff took part in the annual EU Open Day in Brussels with a stand in the European External Action Service (EEAS).

In June 2017, the EUISS established a partnership with the European Commission aimed at promoting a strategic approach and understanding of cyber capacity building among EU stakeholders.

On 23 March, the EUISS organised a roundtable on Brexit and its consequences for the EU’s security and defence agenda.
