On 4 April 2019, the EUISS, the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the EU and the General Secretariat of the Council of the EU (Integrated Political Crisis Response) organised a strategic foresight workshop in Brussels.

On 2 April, the EUISS hosted a workshop in Brussels as part of EU-India Experts’ Day.

On 2 April, the EUISS and the Africa Working Party of the Council of the EU (COAFR) jointly organised the second informal breakfast meeting on sub-Saharan Africa in Brussels.

Daniel Fiott served as master of ceremonies and panel moderator at a high-level conference in Bucharest.

Daniel Fiott was invited by the Dutch Ministry of Defence to stimulate a discussion at the ‘EU Day’, which was organised for all branches of the Dutch armed forces and civilian personnel.

On 28 February 2019, the EUISS and the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs organised a high-level conference on hybrid threats, resilience and strategic communication in Bucharest under the auspices of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the EU.

On 22 February 2019, the EUISS and the European Security and Defence College (ESDC) organised a seminar on the EU Global Strategy.

On 29 January, the EUISS and the Africa Working Party of the Council of the EU (COAFR) jointly organised in Brussels the first of a series of breakfast meetings on sub-Saharan Africa.

On 25 January, the EUISS organised a major conference on strategic foresight in Brussels.

On 22 January 2019, the EUISS organised a strategic foresight workshop for representatives from the EUSR in BiH, the EU Delegation and EUFOR Operation Althea.
