The EUISS is an agency of the European Union

Following the CFI Africa Forum 2026 in Dakar, Senegal on 10 and 11 of February, Nad'a Kovalčíková spoke to Point Actu (in French) about the Countering Foreign Interference project and its role in developing capacities against foreign interference and in strengthening the preparedness and resilience of EU Member States and partner countries against FIMI.
According to Nad'a, the main focus of the project is to conduct research in collaboration with universities. The project includes experts in Senegal, as well as in other African and European countries, and also in Canada and England. She explained that these teams are developing research and digital tools to analyse these phenomena together, and also to create, with partners, a network and a community of expertise that fosters analysis and cooperation.
