A stronger transatlantic approach to countering hybrid threats

On 23 February, the EUISS organised a roundtable to share insights and knowledge on the prospective impact of greater transatlantic cooperation to counter hybrid threats in the Western Balkans. 

This exchange came as an occasion for Senior Analyst Nad’a Kovalčíková and Associate Analyst Marie Brethous to share their newly published policy Brief on 'Next level partnership: Bolstering EU-NATO cooperation to counter hybrid threats in the Western Balkans'.

Moreover, the discussion was an opportunity for European and US experts to exchange perspectives regarding the impact of Russia’s war in Ukraine on security in the EU’s eastern neighbourhood, and explore research tools to analyse foreign actors’ disinformation.
