Pakistan – looking towards 2025: drivers of democratic consolidation and stability

On 20 and 21 May 2012, the EUISS invited experts from around the world to examine the regional trends, domestic political arrangements and changing nature of Pakistani society that will help cement stability and democratic legitimacy in Pakistan. Several panels explored topics such as security and the rule of law, demographic and economic trends and Pakistan's role in the wider South Asia region. The seminar was then concluded by EUISS Senior Research Fellow Luis Peral.
