EUPOL Afghanistan: lessons and best practices

On 16 June, with the support of the Permanent Representation of Belgium to the EU, the EUISS organised a seminar to analyse a series of issues in relation to the planning, conduct, and handover of EUPOL Afghanistan.

The seminar convened senior officials from permanent representations, the EU institutions, NATO, and the UN to discuss and identify lessons and best practices for future civilian missions.
