Daniel Fiott invited to annual EU Military Staff seminar

On 24 September 2019, Daniel Fiott was invited by the EU Military Staff (EUMS) at the European External Action Service (EEAS) to its annual seminar on ‘Conceptual Development & Experimentation’.

The eighth edition of the annual seminar discussed military strategic issues and the EU’s military contribution to the Union’s security and defence. The seminar brought together officials from the EEAS and representatives from EU member states dealing with military strategy. Daniel was invited to present his thoughts on different conceptualisations of strategic autonomy from a defence perspective.
