Dalia Ghanem at Rome Med forum

Between 1 and 3 December, Dalia Ghanem was invited as a speaker at the 8th annual Rome Med forum organised in collaboration with the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) and the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs. The forum brings together a wide range of experts and policymakers with a focus on the Mediterranean region.

Dr Ghanem was a speaker on three panels which covered a wide range of topics including the role of NATO in the Mediterranean region, economic and food security, and the process of democratic consolidation in North Africa. She was also a speaker during a special dialogue with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, Sameh Shoukry.
