On 3 December 2014, the third and final high-level seminar on EU-UN cooperation took place in Brussels.

On 12 November 2014, the second of three high-level seminars on EU-UN cooperation took place in Berlin.

This brainstorming workshop in Brussels brought together experts in order to discuss the EU’s collective interests in Central Asia and its potential contribution to addressing the region's multiple challenges.

The aim of this Workshop was to discuss the sources of tension in North-East Asia through the three maritime case studies, assess the main trends in the region’s security dynamics, and try to identify possible solutions.

In partnership with the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, the EUISS presented the abridged German version of its Yearbook of European of European Security 2014 on 6 November in the Austrian capital.

On 22 October 2014, the first of three high-level seminars on EU-UN cooperation took place under the Italian presidency of the European Union in Rome.

This Colloquium, coorganised by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the EUISS on 30 September in Brussels, focused on the theme of women and war and the challenges for the EU, humanitarian organisations and other concerned actors in this space.

The EUISS and the Korean National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) coorganised a conference entitled 'The Northeast Asia Peace and Cooperation Initiative (NAPCI) and the European Experience' in Seoul, on 18-19 September, 2014.
