Our Director Steven Everts joined France 24's 'The Debate' to discuss President Macron's announcement that France will reintroduce a national military service for young adults. 

"We see a security landscape that really puts us under pressure as Europeans. This measure is fitting with a wider determination that you sense. There is a degree of fear across Europe: we have the horrible war in Ukraine, and on top of that, there are increasingly brazen hybrid tactics by Russia."
