In an article looking at Europe's continued lack of an effective mechanism to plan a defence build-up as US support wanes, Foreign Policy mentioned Luigi Scazzieri's Brief, 'Rebuilding Europe's defences: How to unlock a coordinated defence surge'. The Financial Times similarly cited the Brief in an article discussing the EU's proposed "drone wall" initiative.
Both articles highlighted Luigi's argument that many of the hurdles can be overcome if Europeans harness the power of bilateral and small group cooperation in ad hoc mini-alliances of individual countries that have more closely aligned needs.
