Speaking to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), Giuseppe Spatafora said that the frequency of drone sightings at key sites in Europe has become "quite unprecedented".
"While it might be difficult to find direct evidence of Russian involvement, there is a clear 'novelty' to the countries experiencing drone disruptions — they have either taken significant steps to support Ukraine or are considering doing so," he added.
