Clotilde Bômont and Bojana Zorić's Commentary, 'Artificial intelligence, real politics: What Albania's AI Minister means for EU accession' was cited in a Vijesti article on Albania's AI Minister being under investigation for large-scale corruption.

In their October 2025 analysis, the authors warned that Diella, the AI Minister, "risks adding a further layer of opacity to governance rather than reducing it".

They cautioned that relying on information generated and shaped by AI is not neutral. Therefore, Albania's AI Minister will "inevitably sort, prioritise, and frame the information on which political decisions are based". The question is to what extent human judgments are shaped, constrained, or biased by these outputs, noted the authors.
