Ahead of Trump's visit to Beijing last week, Alice Ekman joined Radio France's 'L'invité de 8h20' and France TV's 'C à Vous' (in French) to discuss the geopolitical stakes of the trip. "China is establishing a new balance of power," she remarked. "It believes it must surpass the US, but to do so, it must initiate a coalition dynamic, particularly with Russia." Alice also noted that China hopes to overtake the US by 2049, the 100th anniversary of the PRC's founding, across all sectors.
