A transforming Arab world: between continuity and change

On 3-4 October, almost 100 academics and policymakers from over 35 different countries gathered at the Annual EuroMeSCo conference, whose theme 'A transforming Arab world: between continuity and change' set the framework for lively discussions. Covering not only the state of affairs in the Arab world since 2011 but also Euro-Mediterranean relations, the conference brought together high-level speakers from the European External Action Service as well as researchers from Europe and its southern neighbourhood. Hosted this year by the EUISS, the EuroMeSCo network (the Euro-Mediterranean Study Commission) unites 93 think tanks working around and on the Mediterranean.
