Steven Everts' participation in CIDOB conference covered by Ara

Speaking at CIDOB's War and Peace in the 21st Century conference in Barcelona last week, our Director Steven Everts argued that the problem with European defence is not money. "Europe is rearming, but we need more integration." 

Catalan newspaper Ara covered the event, highlighting Steven's observation that the US now finds itself in a "pressure triangle" with Russia and China for the first time. This new reality, he noted, forces Europe to break free from its "psychology of weakness".
