CHIPDIPLO paper cited by the Financial Times

The Chips Diplomacy Support Initiative (CHIPDIPLO) policy paper co-authored by Joris Teer was cited in the Financial Times. 

The article highlights the paper's argument that Europe should pursue "European indispensability" by leading in advanced semiconductors and creating strategic chokepoints that strengthen EU geopolitical leverage and deterrence. "This would then strengthen European means to deter the imposition on Europe of export boycotts and perhaps even military adventurism by rival states," the authors conclude.
