On 20 June, the European Union Institute for Security Studies hosted a seminar convened by the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) on fostering enlargement through cooperation in South East Europe.
The seminar offered a vital platform for open exchange and regional collaboration aimed at advancing the EU accession process. It underscored the importance of promoting dialogue between the Western Balkans and their neighbouring EU partners to resolve existing disputes and anticipate future challenges during enlargement.
It also highlighted the need to build a coalition of member states to foster political will and cultivate broader consensus within the EU in support of the enlargement process.
