In his appearance on the BNR podcast De Strateeg, Director, Steven Everts argued that Europe could support Ukraine without relying on the United States. He emphasised that this would not place a significant burden on European citizens, stating, “If we want to support Ukraine, this will cost 70 euros per European citizen per year without the help of the US.”
