Giovanni Faleg spoke at La Fabrique Défense on the EU in the Sahel

On 30 January, Giovanni Faleg attended La Fabrique Défense at La Villette in Paris and participated in a public debate organised by Observatoire Proche Europe on the EU’s integrated approach in the Sahel, together with Christophe Nied (EUCAP Sahel Mali) and Nicolas Normand (Ancien Ambassadeur de France au Mali). Dr. Faleg highlighted the new geopolitical dynamics affecting the region, the challenges for EU and member states resulting from recent military coups and old/emerging security threats, and possible future scenarios.
