Giovanni Faleg at the European Parliament

Giovanni Faleg intervened as a speaker at the Subcommittee on Security and Defence of the European Parliament on a panel entitled 'The Civilian CSDP Compact'. He assessed the establishment of a Civilian CSDP Compact at the Foreign Affairs Council meeting held on 19 November 2018, which set the strategic guidelines for the strengthening of civilian CSDP through 22 political commitments by the Council and EU member states. The meeting provided for an exchange of views with: Arnout Molenaar, Acting Head of Division, CMPD 2, Capabilities, Concepts, Training and Exercises, EEAS; Giovanni Faleg, Senior Analyst, European Union Institute for Security Studies (EUISS); and Anna Penfrat, Senior Policy Officer, European Peacebuilding Liaison Office (EPLO).
