The EU and the Middle East peace process: between pessimism and optimism

Taking place on 21 July 2010, this seminar entitled: "Between pessimism and optimism: EU policy options across scenarios" took place at the EU Institute for Security Studies in Paris. Chairing each of the five panels were the EUISS research team, including Esra Bulut, Rouzbeh Parsi, Marcin Zabarowski and EUISS Director Alvaro de Vasconcelos. The panels explored EU strategy in the context of both local and regional scenarios, alongside discussion where the EU fits in.
