Daniel Fiott speaks at a workshop on the EU’s Strategic Compass

Presenting his ideas on defence capability development to EU member state representatives, Daniel Fiott joined a workshop entitled “The Future of CSDP: The Strategic Compass – Guiding EU Security and Defence”. The virtual workshop was organised by the German Federal Ministry of Defence and the German Presidency of the Council of the EU as part of the ongoing work to develop a Strategic Compass for EU security and defence. Fiott was joined by a host of think tank analysts, plus high-level representatives from the German Federal Ministry of Defence and the European External Action Service.
