Andrea Salvi joins EUISS
The Institute is glad to welcome Dr. Salvi as the new Senior Analyst in charge of the cyber and digital portfolio. Andrea is also the director of the EU Cyber Direct project.
Before joining the Institute Andrea worked at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission and at the United Nations Missions in South Sudan. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at Luiss University (Rome) and as research affiliate at the Center for Research in Leadership, Innovation and Organization conducting research on cybersecurity, cyber-physical critical infrastructures, and high reliability organisations.
He is specialised in quantitative methods and in computational social sciences, making use of cutting-edge data technologies to answer security and political questions.
His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and he also contributed to several edited volumes. He has extensive lecturing experience in quantitative methods for security and intelligence, political risk and conflict studies.
