Africa's international relations: between foreign actors and external projection

01 March 2017

The workshop, jointly organised by the EUISS and Egmont Institute, brought together experts on Africa’s international relations alongside officials from the EU, Belgian and French institutions in order to explore what long-term trends are likely to mark the position of Africa in the world. The focus was on both discussing the role of external partners in Africa (in particular the role of emerging powers) and the influence and power of Africa in the world.
