Patryk Pawlak

Patryk Pawlak is the EUISS Brussels Executive Officer. In this capacity he maintains and develops relations with other Brussels-based institutions. In addition, he researches and contributes to the Institute’s cyber-related projects and outreach activities. He previously worked for the EUISS as a Senior Analyst in charge of the EUISS Cyber Task Force. During his career, Patryk has cooperated with numerous research institutions, governments and international organisations, most recently as a Policy Analyst at the European Parliamentary Research Service in Brussels.

Since June 2016, he is a member of the Advisory Board of the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise. His work on cyber-related issues and European Union’s security policies more broadly has appeared in several peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes. Patryk holds a PhD in Political Science from the European University Institute in Florence and MA in European Studies from the College of Europe.
