On 28 June 2010, the second preparatory seminar entitled ‘Current Challenges to humanitarian action in conflict situations' took place in Paris. The seminar was co-organised with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The participants discussed the diversity of humanitarian approaches to conflict-affected areas and the key legal principles guiding them. The seminar further touched upon was and displacement, civil-military relations and coordination among stakeholders.
