Nad'a Kovalčíková on Western support for Ukraine
On 14 March 2023, Dr Kovalčíková participated to a panel discussion organised by the Institute of International Relations (IDIS) and taking stock of public support for Ukraine across the EU and the US.
The discussion Nad'a took part in focused in particular on the influences and drivers of domestic public opinion in the US and Europe.
Her intervention highlighted what is being done at the EU level to monitor, analyse and detect narratives detrimental to democracy and security and undermining the credibility of the EU in the digital and traditional space, she looked at how these narratives have been evolving since the invasion of Ukraine and what is the public opinion of the war in Ukraine, within the EU and beyond.
