Kosovo: what prospects for final status?

The EUISS Balkans Task Force met in Paris on 2 July, 2004. The seminar started with a reappraisal of the domestic constraints and possibilities in Serbia and Kosovo, and an evaluation of the state of play in EU policy; moving on to consider the ramifications of the issue in the Western Balkans neighbourhood. It then directed attention to the scope for international (transatlantic) consensus, and at the role and future responsibilities of the EU in Kosovo.
