Jan Joel Andersson at the Stockholm Security Conference

On 8 November 2022, Dr Jan Joel Andersson spoke at the seventh annual Stockholm Security Conference which this year was dedicated to “Trends of Conflict and Warfare in the 21st Century: Effects and Impact of the War in Ukraine”.

Dr Andersson participated in the opening panel on “Global military spending and the war in Ukraine” together with Dr Lucie Béraud-Sudreau, Director, Military Expenditure and Arms Production Programme, SIPRI; Amb Maritza Chan Valverde, Permanent Representative of Costa Rica to the United Nations; and Dr Adedeji Ebo, Director and Deputy to the High Representative, UN Office for Disarmament Affairs.
