Hybrid threats in the context of European security

On 18 May 2021, Giovanni Faleg participated to the international conference “Hybrid threats in the context of European security" organised by the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU, the National Defence Institute and the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Dr Faleg discussed how to improve the resilience of states and societies in the face of hybrid threats, focusing in particular on civilian CSDP missions and highlighting the need for a strategic approach to face fast and adaptive hybrid actors. The session was chaired by Sergio Caldeira Carvalho fom the Cyber Defence Centre.
