Daniel Fiott participates in workshop on the Strategic Compass

Daniel Fiott served as a working group moderator on defence capabilities at a workshop organised by the German Council on Foreign Relations and the German Federal Ministry of Defence. The workshop allowed leading think tankers from across the EU to think about and discuss the forthcoming Strategic Compass. The workshop focused on crisis management, resilience, capabilities and partnerships. The event was opened with a keynote speech by Dr Benedikta von Seherr-Thoß, Head of EU/CSDP Directorate and EU representative of the Federal Ministry of Defence, and a senior official from the European External Action Service.
