Alice Ekman at the Brussels Korea Forum

On 20 September, Alice Ekman participated in the 2022 edition of the Brussels Korea Forum, organized by the Korea Chair at the Brussels School of Governance. She took part in a panel discussion on security in the Korean Peninsula. 

In her presentation, Alice Ekman discussed the position of the new Korean administration with regards to China and the United States, and pointed out the strong pressure that ROK is facing in the present context. Taking into account China’s coalition building strategy, she then examined the evolution of China-Russia relations since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, as well as DPRK’s support for Russia.
