On 14 April,Giovanni Faleg delivered a presentation on EU strategies towards Africa at the seminar “African Security: Agency, Strategies, Perspectives”, organised by the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies.
The Institute participated to the first Symposium on EU-Norway security and defence cooperation. The focus of the discussion was on the opportunities and challenges for further security and defence policy cooperation between Norway and the EU within the broader context of transatlantic security.
On 22 March, the EUISS and the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP) organised a meeting to take stock of various ramifications of the war in Ukraine for the EU's Eastern neighbourhood.
The Institute was involved in the first Schuman Security and Defence Forum, a high-level event aiming to facilitate dialogue and strategic reflection on international security and defence between the EU, its Member States and their partners.
