The Western Balkans and the EU: 'the hour of Europe'
Today, more than fifteen years after the end of the wars of Yugoslavia’s dissolution, the ‘Balkan question’ remains more than ever a ‘European question’.
The event was hosted in Natolin, Warsaw and was organised in cooperation with Natolin European Centre and the College of Europe (Natolin Campus).
The discussions included 'Turkey's view on unfinished business in Europe' and the transition from crisis management in the region to Euro-Atlantic integration. Further topics for debate included the instruments for EU-US cooperation in the region and the future of the two actors in the western Balkans.
